Ctipping, method is a tweak, not a hand placement. nice try tho. you need to learn your stuff. between the bindings and nose is just a slopy melan.

a lot of tricks are named incorrectly. a lot of people can actually tweak out methods on an invert tho but sometimes its just a melan.

Almost every claimed "method" backroll, crow, crow mobe, KGB, method whatever is actually more of a melan grab but most people dont really care.

My interpretation of a method grab, is where you bring your front foot across your body and push your back foot towards the boat, hopefully the boat crew can see the bottom of your board. It is still possible to teak out a Melan and for it not to be a method grab as well.. for example see the Melan that Lyman does in Metronome (i think going from memory here).

And while we are at it lets get back into the debate about which grabs are legit and which grabs arent..... Very Happy
