Almost complete on the new Malibu Ride -- thought I would share these...
10" sub in the enclosure ended up in the battery compartment along with a capacitor. Two amps had to go just outside underneath the seat...
6 speakers (6 1/2")
some sort of problem on this shot (white blob...?)

Nice equipment, just need to do some cleaning up of the wiring. I wouldn't doubt that you were getting some noise in the system due to the speaker and RCA cables being so close to the power wires? You might also think of taking some of the excess wire out of the speakers leads.....no use in having the excess if it's not needed, which also causes undue resistance. |

But I agree, if you can route speaker wires away from the power leeds (turn the amps out)
Pretty clean set up Tmac1, |

yes -- I have major wire clean up work to do...other than that -- tweakin g everything to sound right. I am probably going to add an eq at some point as well...and that was the only way those amps fit in there (originally we wanted them in the battery compartment -- but it just wasn't going to work unless we had a midget to do it )-- not really an option to move them around at this point. However -- I have two good friends who did the install and they'll figure something out re wires/RCA's - power cables -- thanks...
can't I just use some wire tubing...? |

Why wouldn't the amps fit under the storage? I have a V-Ride and there's plenty of room in mine for the amps...I just put them on the 'wall' in there. BTW...that area gets wet where you have your amps now. Just make sure you dont' get caught in the rain and that people who sit there dry off first. _________________ http://kmags.mybrute.com/

Nice setup....
P.S. - that white blob is more then likely the wrist rope from your camera. Speaking from experience. |

Nice. Just hope you never take any water over board that migh get into that compartment and fry those amps. _________________

Dees -- I am a bit worried about that myself...however -- with the size of those amps ....it was going to be a real bitch to get them in the battery compartment...I may have the dealer move them when it goes for storage in the fall... |
