I'm waiting for my tower (taking too dam long) and I'm wondering how much my air will be affected. Right now im using a normal ski pole (about 3-4 off floor) and getting about 5 feet of air. When i'm in the air i feel the pole drag me down.
How much air will I get with a tower.

How high is the ski pole? If they're the same hight then no more.

with a tower you will only get as much air as you have technique...
If you aren't coming off of the wake correctly, then the tower isn't going to give you any more air than you can already get. If you are doing it right, you can get much higher with a tower. |

| Get a tower man, You will feel yourself going higher easy. They are about 600 bucks for a good one and you wont regret...and maby adjust your propellar to a bigger wake...shave it down or lower in |

Parks_is_wicked, It's probally not going to get you any higher it's the
pop off the wake so if your getting no pop because of the wake then a tower
is not going to help or because your doing your tricks before you leave the
wake it wont help. good luck |

If he's got an 8or 10 foot pole and gets a 8or 10 foot tower isnt going to give him any
more AIR it's your pop off the wake and the size of the wake..cdn_ripper, if
its just a stock skipole than it should help. |

Yeah the pole wont make you go any higher, it will just give your more 'hang time' to do your tricks while your up there... bigger/tweaked wake is the way to go and proper technique. I can do backrolls behind this little 15ft outboard with no weight off the ski pole.. its all about using the wake.. i dont go huge but it can be done.

um there is no "good" tower for $600
and WTF, shave the what down??? do you mean get a different pitched prop? if so, that won't make the wake bigger, just your hole shot better. If you mean adjust the trim, then yes that can affect the wake.... I don't think you should be answering questions dude, cause you don't really seem to have any idea about what you're talking about |

standard ski pole vs. tower/pylon...using proper technique, yes you will go higher, to borrow a snowboarding term...a higher amplitude.
