hi, we are getting a boat soon and I wanted to get a wake-board because I always wanted to try but we never had a boat. We are probably getting a sea ray, we want a 220 sundeck but they are a little pricey so maby a 185sport.

So what board would you recommend. I want a quality one that is easy to get up on but I don't want an all out beginners one since I catch onto stuff super fast. also what are some good bindings? I am about 180pounds if that matters.

Also when I am first learning is it easier to get up with the rope hooked to the top of the tower or the tow eye on the back of the boat? My friend does this so he can help me but any tips wouldn't hurt.

Thanks,
Colin

Theres lots of boards I'd say are good for you- the biggest factors are going to be price and brand (unless you but online). A size 138+ board would be the right size for you. Look at HL Era, Motive, Fluid, State, and Murray, and LF Omega, Evo, and Team.

I wanted to spend under 300 bucks for the board and bindings. Is that possible?

Yes, the Liquid Force Evo comes with element bindings for $300. Check the link below.

Accually, I am only spending a little over 300 for the setup that I am getting. The only thing was that its old. I'm getting a 03 o'brian player 138 and '04 transits for 335. If you keep looking on here you can geta really nice setup for under 300. The Evo is a nice board too so I hear, I've never rode it but everyone that does loves it.

The Evo is a good choice. Three of my friends ride it and love it. They are all beginner-intermediate and ride the 2003 and 2004 models with ultras or elements.
