This summer I'll get my first chance to wakeboard. I don't know what kind of board it is, seeing as I havent talked to my cousin in a long time. But i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips for just starting so i dont face-plant 100 times when i give it my first shot

ok dude...here i go... sit down in the water...board parallel to the boat yet out of the water put one of ur edges out of the water a little...have your knees up to ur chest and heels under your butt...Bring the rope over your board and towards your "leading foot". Have your board at like a 75 degree angle...This will help pop you out. When you begin to get pulled wait till you get ont op of the water and are planing extend your legs and turn ur board purpindicular to the boat...

HOPE THIS HELPS HAPPY RIDING

read the help pages on this site, but i just had my first summer of wakeboarding myself and the best help i ever got was this.

Think of being pulled out of the water as if someone was helping you off the ground. That's it, once you start getting the hang of it go with what snooks said for some extra help on the smaller stuff.

Good luck and have fun
