I just bought an Epson Perfection 2580 and i'm having some difficulties. The first picture i scanned was clear but everyone after had streaks going through the picture. Also, after they are scanned on to the computer, I can't add them to the iPhoto library even though they are JPEG files. It says the file is unreadable. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Did you check Epson's webiste and make sure you've got the latest drivers? (especially if you're running 10.4 Tiger) I had an Epson Scanner a while back and it was always flakey when using their stand alone software while the Photoshop plugin worked great. If you have PS or Elements and if Epson supplies you with a plugin you might want to try that. _________________ Rich Dykmans
