That's cool I can understand - I'm sure I'll post a few pics though to show ya the good time! Smile

I thought of you guys Saturday - my flight from Australia came into LA before going back to Dallas. My only thought was:

"Man, I wish I had my board so I could meet some of the Cali people"

Maybe I'll have to use my free ticket I gained on the trip around the world to come to Cali - one of my good friends just moved to LA so I could make a whole trip of it.

Oh the delta would be THE ONLY way I'd go. After reading all the stuff about it on here I have to check it out on my own.

Gotta polish the riding skilz tho before coming up - actually took advantage of the great weather and landed my 1st backroll.

If you guys ever wanna come East to Tejas you've got a place to stay!

You guys will feel the pain for me I'm sure when I get my photos deleloped. Every day I get up, I have the whole day to ride (don't start work 'till 3:30pm), I walk out on my balcony and look down at the view of the river, butter as far as the eye can see in both directions, warm sun.... awesome.

Then I remember that I don't currenty have a ride, so I go back to bed and cry Crying or Very sad

When you see the pics of what I was missing out on the other day, you'll cry too Mr. Green

Okay kyle you took my post wrong. I dont want to see your loved ones nor do i want to post pics of my family. But i feel if a person is going to talk crap about PChick or any other girl that posts pics on here, then he better be able to represent.
All Im saying is if you dont like the pictures then thats fine. But if you say something such as, i date chicks hotter than her all the time, then prove it.

hey jt, I'll be in Ft. Worth for the 3x crown. We should round up everyone and hit up so local bars there. I'm not sure where we are staying, I have foud the "microtel" hotel on expedia for 40.00 a night. I'm taking off work thursday at noon and we are driving down there some time then. We are getting a pony keg for the ride and making a real road trip out of it. I know there are 4 of us going so far, might grow the closer we get to triple crown.

Yeah-Don't dog PCHICK, she did not ask for this post and from my reading-she did not ask for any comments about her! So, lets try not to get personal!

By the way-I date really hot chicks and occasionally an ugly one, but they usually dump me in the summer because I wakeboard too much! Laughing If only I could find a hot chick that likes to wakeboard as much as I do!

Turk-Hehhehehehe I seem to have the same problem with guys. It is all cool until the weather warms up. Some guys seem to take offense when I don't answer my phone all day because I am out on the water. To hell with them I say!!

All the guys I board with here were talking about the same thing the other day - the "Youre going wakeboarding AGAIN?" talk from the other half.

"Yup, I'm going again - either come with me or don't just that simple"

That is why I refuse to date anyone who doesn't wakeboard. People who don't ride just don't get us and our addiction. They don't understand the time involved and the heart and soul behind the sport.

I agree, I could not be with someone that does not like to be out on the lake. I spend too much time and money out there for someone that I suppossedly care about to not understand and cause some issue about. Along with wakeboarding there is the atmosphere, the comradire, and the enjoyment of being at the lake. If they can't understand that, F'em and don't date em.

I really thought about coming up to NorCal when I flew into LA last weekend. Gotta make that trip sometime.

It is a sickness I tell you. Some people just don't get it. Someone was questioning me last night. They were telling me how hard wakeboarding is on the knees. Just because something is dangerous doesn't mean it shouldn't be done at all. You have plenty of time to rest when you're dead.

Raider-That is funny!! Some guy got mad at me once because I told him that if I dated someone who didn't wakeboard (like him) I would never see him and it be a waste of time. He got mad. Then I offered to invite him along with me and he refused because he said I would be better then him. I have to laugh when people use the excuse that they don't want to ride in front of other people. If that is the case, just when exactly are they supposed to ride? We all learn sometime.

Seriously though - I'm sure Parks just jumped on a board and started throwing sick tricks (well maybe bad example).

I think we laugh harder at each other trying new things than someone just learning. I would never make fun of someone for trying it - maybe someone who didn't want to try though Very Happy

I did forget though the last part of the conversation:
HER: "But I'm a good waterskier"
ME: "Well we don't really do that"
HER: "Seriously, I've never slalomed but I'm great on two skis"

At this point I'm just banging my head on my 'puter. Rolling Eyes

I think you have your answer there. She said "waterskier". Leave the biotch on the dock. Kidding, just kidding folks.

I can't remember a time when I have gone out and people have laughed at me. Especially when I first started riding and was learning to get up and cross the wake. Even on the gnarley falls. Usually we are more concerned with the person's safety. And if it was a good enough crash, they get the honk. I don't see how that is making fun of someone. You got to do something really cool to get "the honk".

Baaaaaahhhhahaaahaha..... that is hil-lar-ious! Not to knock on those that salom, but I think it's so funny when they say "I used to salalom, so I bet that it's easy. Can I bring my slalom ski in case I don't like to board?" or "I never liked to slalom, and wakeboarding is a lot like that. How fun can it be?" Whew, those people wear me the F out. No offense to the skiers, but I would rather spend 1/2 the day teaching some to board than watching an expierence skier. unless it's Dean Levealle doing a front flip on a slalom ski, that's different.

Is it that hard for them to understand? I like to ride and when I'm not riding I like to talk about riding or watch other people who ride. I also like driving boat. When I'm not wakeboarding I'm playing water polo or coaching little kids water polo. Most of my recreation revolves around water...

You know how people have certain standards for people they date. I have a swim test. It tells me several things.
1) She is comfortably in the water - no looking like a drowning cat
2) She knows how to wear a swimsuit - no sagging fabric
3) She knows how to swim - I'm not looking for an olympic swimmer but at least know how to swim freestyle.

Is this too much to ask for?

Raider-You just describe how I spent last summer! LOL!! Except I have to work at night so I was commuting in-between my riding sessions. Work was the only thing I left the water early for. Now this summer, it is all about the shifts starting at 10PM!!

What sux about your friend is what probably really happened is his wife spent too much on shopping while he was at NASCAR and he is suffering for it.

When I was 14 my uncle told me women control 95% of the money in the world because they control 100% of something else. Everyday I realize how true that is.

This whole conversation is exactly the reason why I do not hold a steady girlfriend. I chase women alot, but never want one as a "girlfriend"......she'll take away from my "me" time.

Raider....I'll look at my schedule for the next little while and see when I can break away for a spell, and show you around a bit! Wink Twisted Evil
