Hey I rode last season behind waverunners and I learned how to ride and control my board really well. this season has just officailly started this past week when I bought my first inboard boat. ('04 Malibu Wakesetter)
I've just gotten used to the beautiful wake it throws out and jump pretty damn high and stomping the landings. I wanna start learning grabs spins and maybe late this season an invert. Anyways how would I go about learning these tricks and where do I start. Is it something that you just have to get ballsy to leanr or what??? _________________ http://www.learnwake.com/amember/go.php?r=253&i=l1 |

| eh, yeah. thats how you learn things. i suppose getting comfortable on the trampoline helps a bit, but its WAY different when your cruising over glassy water @ 23 mph. just, when your thinking about trying inverts and spins, try a bunch and then pick the ones that feel most comfortable to work on... |

I would start with the basics and work your way up the ladder so to speak. Ok, so you have the HS wake jump down, try grabbing the board indy, stale, tail, whatever (just no tindy). Then work on your TS jump as well. Once you have those, go to 180's, both TS and HS. There are a lot the threads on these. Nail the grabs first, then move on. Don't huck yourself if you can't do the basics. Good Luck _________________ Don't let go of the rope |

| OK, I never got this, WHY ARE TINDYS NOT COOL? It is a lot like a slob, like if you grab a TS 180, the end of it is a Tindy. |

Beginning, carve heaps, ride switch, carve switch, learn surface frontside 180s, butterslide, powerslide, grind the wake frontside/backside boardslide/lipslide, jump the wake regular and switch, toeside and heelside, basic grabs, indy, stalefish, crail, tail ... create your own style.
Bascially the number one thing you want to do is get really comforatable riding your board in all directions, all stances, all approaches to the wake. Then you can start to takle tricks, basic frontside 180s, add grabs, backside 180s, 3s, basic inverts. If you want more help check out the book DVD, I have it, the best wakeboarding instructional ever, every trick, drills, everything. _________________ Riding
