|
I have a '94 Mastercraft Prostar 190.
I am thinking of getting a fat seat and side sacs. Is that adequate for this boat? Too much, too little, or enough? And will that be pretty balanced. I also need help on what kind of pumps to get, I'll prolly get 2.
Also, what kind should of tower should I/could I put on it. I want to keep around 2K so I have some money for a killer sound system and tower speakers. _________________ Ride harder...

Get the phat seat and a sack for the front. The seat actually has legs that surround the motor box and I doubt that there is room for side sacks as well. At least there is not enough room in my boat. The seat and sack is about 2000 lbs and that is good for a 19 footer. You want the sack in the front so it limits the bowrise and it also makes the wake harder.Get two pumps or three, the seat takes forever.
I would get a boss tower because they are boss. J/k Actually my brother has a closed bow 19 footer with a white proflight tower and it looks sick. _________________ Calabria Boats Rule! |

| Get 1100 gph pumps its worth the extra money. You will probably want a fast pump if your goign to get a fat seat |

i would go with the largest possible combinatiuon to add 500lbs up front but make sure that you add it evenly. A normal fat sack or mayby a side sack and some lead. _________________ Calabria Boats Rule! |

The first thing you need is perfect pass, way before stereo and I would say before tower too. Seriously. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

I would agree that it would be ok for a wide open lake where you never have to turn the boat. Tulloch is narrow and you must turn the boat every 2-3 jumps to avoid shore (at least in the back wher the water is good). Since the paddle wheel is mounted on one side or the other making turns really suck. Say that the paddle is on the left side of the boat and you turn left. When you do this the water over the paddle is moving slower than you really are going, speeding the boat drastically. Then as you straighten out the boat you are hauling a** and then the boat lets off jerking your rider back and forth. When you turn right it is the opposite the paddle is spinning faster because it is on the outside of the boat and the boat slows giving the rider slack and then it takes off as you straighten out.
The rpm mode is a little better but it changes if the wind is blowing. If you set it with a chick riding and them she switches with a 230lb guy the rpms are all wrong again. I have the wakeboard digital pro and it doesn't have the programming capabilities of the accuski with riders weights speeds etc.
Again I must admit it would be better on a big lake but it is no substitute for a good boat driver.
By the way I am married and she is a much better rider than driver. _________________ Calabria Boats Rule! |

I hear what you are saying, but there are few good drivers and pp, etc. makes it so much more fun to drive too. Maybe we will agree to disagree. Although we completely agree re: driving wives. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

The best upgrade is ballast and a tower. Everything else is extra. Wakeboarding becomes skiboarding without the phat wake and tower. _________________ Calabria Boats Rule! |
