Here's my place and boat. It's still under construction. Floating dock as the lake is natural and the level varies with the groung water level. Boat sits on a hydraulic lift. Covered by a metal carport that I added sides to.

they're just day docks, but some of the people just keep their boats in there... wish we had a house, but I guess we gotta be happy with the two condos we have in this complex...

LOL

delberto, that was a nice job with the sides you added, I really liked the pulley kind of setup you have on there and the barndoor type sliding doors. Well done.

Here's ours that we had put in last month...we waited 7 years from the Cor for the approval. There are only a handful of docks on the lake. We put in a hydraulic lift in last week and we're installing a few small solar panels for electricity.

Heres mine, we had someone come out to look installing a boat lift (dock builder guy) and he was impressed by my dads handywork. It's pretty cool, the dock floats on old tires filled with foam.

There was a thread like this last year and one guy had a dock where the actual "slip" came to a point the shape of his boat. So it was essentially 270 degree coverage. Looked cool.

not really, just cause they should have one doesnt mean they could. Not many could afford what isnt pictured either. I will re-phrase every one on this forum should have a dock set up like that.... ok so i am still learning the ropes! lol
I'd like to see the house!

By the way, do you think just because boat owners dont have a dock like that- they are not taking their boats to the lake or other waterways? I don't think it would be anymore crowded than they are now. my .02
