I have a friend who's aunt paid for his tattoo that says " Your Name" on is arse.
It's his demented way of meeting chicks and winning bets. Of course he had this done well over 20yrs ago.

Dragon - That's right, it depends on the thickness of the line they are tattooing.

It is all in one needle, but at the end, it looks like a bunch of tiny, tiny needles.

LOL.. I did my research before I had one done, cuz I don't really like needles either.

I always find out what I am getting myself into before I do it.. like stretching my ears.... knew almost everything before I even started!!

How far do you have em streched??? That $hit just looks painfull. I have a few friends that have them done, but I still would worry about them getting caught up on something.

I am only up to a 4 guage, (about 1/4" diameter). Not going any further though.
The jewelry still looks somewhat normal for that size. I just like to hint to people that i am twisted, not scare them.

I want to get a tat of an american flag but have it under my skin like byerly's arm.. You know how he has the muscle striations under his skin that looks torn. Yeah well thats what I want but I want an american flag underneath. I dont know where i want it though. Somewhere that if I dont like it when I get old that I dont have to see it everyday. That way when i get senile ill just forget i even have a tat.

I am a big fan of sleeves of tats. I don't have any tats of my own and wont ever get one. I am way too fickle to make a permanent decision like that. I will stick with piercings.

id rather be original by not having any tattoos. i guess im just not really into self mutilation and i am smart enough to realize that i didn't want to have people judge me based on my appearance. i finally took all my peircings out because i got sick of security in stores following me around like i must be a theif everywhere i went. just out of curiosity what kinds of occupations do you people have? do you have to hide them?

Well I need some help here on a Dragon design. I haven't been able to find one that I like.
Being the particular female that I am, I'm lookng for an oriental/asian dragon and it MUST have 5 toes per claw.
I've looked at various internet sites and am not thrill with what I have seen.
I remember seeing one many moons ago, but that means a trip to Chinatown in Los Angeles.

Why not just get someone to draw you one out? Many tattoo artists will draw out custom designs for a price. Talk to whomever your going to get to do the work and see if they will draw exactly what you want.

ya phantom, core is right, my belly button and star were custom drawn by the tattoo artist to be exactly what I wanted. There was no extra charge though.

Hopefully, you'll be going for a more Japanese Dragon rather than the Chinese. The Chinese dragons always looked more like fuzzy worms to me. Very Happy

IIRC, there's a porcelain (sp) from Japan, Mieji if memory serves correctly, with many fine examples of dragons.

I don't think my ancesters would appreciate that very much since Japan beheaded thousands of them for sport.
Chinese is the only way to go...haven't you noticed the # of toes on the asian dragons. Chinese have 5, korean 4 and Japanese 3. Story is that the further away from China the less toes it had.
I've seen one awhile back, but I just can't seem to track it down. Sad

Thanks Kinky~ I didn't even realize the claw situation until I started to research for Asian/Oriental Dragons this past weekend. It'll be a 2 yr process if I do have the dragon(s) done. Haven't decided if i want one or 2 dragons wrapped around and/or through my name.
