Has anyone been behind an X-20? I just got one but the ice is still on the lakes so I wont get to ride for a few weeks.
It seems nice, comes with a 240hp jet drive and has a built in 600lb "fat sac." |

Have you been behind one or are you just assuming that it is all wash?
I havent ever been behind it but I have seen some people behing a challenger 1800 and it was all wash but they were going near 30mph too. I am hoping that adding another 500lbs on top of the 600lb fat sac it comes with and going around 20-22mph it will make a good wake..... hope so. |

I have been beside one and talked to the people afterward. NOT a wakeboard boat, period. _________________ www.integrity-wake.com

If you can get pp for it to hold the speed it should be decent, but not tournament size. _________________ Ontario Rider

I really have no Idea what it will be like, its a $25,000 boat, I dont expect it to perform like a $40,000 X Star.
I am going to use it for wake and knee boarding, as well as slalom skiing and tubing.
I just wonder if they would market a wakeboarding boat that has no wake.
Tell you what when I get in on the water will take pics and video and let you all know!
By the way this seems like a cool site! Thanks for all the help. |

I dont know where you guys find cheap wakeboard boats at but all the ones I looked at were 35k plus. I dont want a used boat because I know how people treat their boats, like crap!
You are correct though, its a hell of alot better than being on shore.
What the hell I will just add weight untill it has a big enough wake |

Adding weight should make the wake bigger, but will it hold it's line when pulling. Jet boats just skim across the water, so I would think as you pull the back end is going to go all over the place. The driver is going to be having a hell of a time holding their line. I haven't ridden behind a Jet boat, just a wave runner, I'll be interested to see how it works. They are fun though, 50mph then turning in your own wake, HOLD ON TIGHT! Good Luck! _________________ Wake chicks wanted! |

| Check out the link to a review under "yamaha wakeboard boat". Says that it holds its line very well. |
