Do you flick the board off the wake or do you wait for the peak and then go for the method?
What is the best way to learn this? |

The better technique is to wait until you're in the air. That's the way you should initiate all of your spins (or quasi-spins in a method). If you start trying to rotate off the wake you're going to learn bad habbits. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

| Method grabs are awesome. It takes awhile to really learn them well, so don't expect to be able to do them perfectly right away. With practice it will become more natural and smooth. |

| Grab it early and hold it as long as you can. That looks good too. |

i found that tail grabs are the easiest, aside from of course, tindy and tailfish....but we dont want to go there. what initiates the grab on the method? the poking or the grabbing? sory if this sounds weird but i cant seem to figure it out... |

It's all about getting over your heel edge so you can get a legit grab and poke on it.
