Slider Questions?

I read someones post and they said they just sold there "slider board" do you have to have certain boards to do it? Or is it like snowboarding and it just kinda wears your nice board away after a while? And how do you get up a slider that is off the water like in the c-rail thread a few posts below this? Ollie? Is it hard

SLiders mess up the bottom of your board so people usually just use their older board... Yes you ollie on the sliders that are off... its obviously harder than just riding up on one.

Yah slider boards are usually older boards.

Or you could look into the new Hyperlite Roam. It is like a Wakeboard with a Snowboard feel.
