i'll take the stars but i dont think ive ever watched an entire hockey game in my life.

I agree with Brad. Toronto should do good with Gilmore back and Owen .

Toronto is strong, but they have no home ice right now....how do they have 94 points and 42 wins but are still behind #3 Tampa Bay (90/35) and Philly? I see why Philly is above them, but why Tampa Bay?

Stars come out of the West and play with Lord Stanley's Cup all summer long....as long as they hold home ice. Still worried about both Denver and Detroit - 2-0-6 vs those two teams with 4 ties against Detroit. Certainly don't want game 7 in Detroit.

TB is ahead of Torornto b/c some stupid reason Gary Betmen made a rule that if a team is leading it division they are seeded 1, 2, or 3 for playoff. Its dumb.

i dont' quite know. the whole playoffs r unpredictable. my hockey pool's gonna be so screwed up. i usually go w/ colorado but this year i'm not quite sure. i might go w/ detroit. i know it's kinda bad switching to colorado's rivals but this is for money.

I live in tampa, i have been wating for what 7 years now for them to get back to the playoff's. Now that there here they better capitalize, who knows when they will make it back.

You'll are crazy. Evrybody knows the Wings will keep the Cup in Hockeytown. 4 cups in 7 years, not too bad. BTW, Emokid, Roy is on the way out. I liked the 7-2 whooping Detroit gave him in last year's playoffs. Sorry, but no one can compete with the Champs. As far as I'm concerned it's already over.

By the way, I was at the Stars/Wings game at Joe Louis in Nov and you guys know how to paint an arena red - holy smokes! I have never seen so much paraphanalia ever....of course I have never had an entire section throw ice, peanuts, etc at me when my team scored a goal or seen a total hottie turn into a Federov jersey wearing, fully raging, "f*cking go back to m*ther f*cking Texas you m*ther f*cker!" dropping, double barrelled middle finger blasting maniac before either.

Four ties, that's not saying much about your stars and all the tradition down in the Big D (wink). Red Wings vs Senators in the finals. Wings win in 6, nuff said. BTW, it's not just Detroit that that shizzle happens, go watch a Red Wings game just about anywhere (besides Canada) and the majority of the crowd will be in Red. I really hope it's Dallas-Detroit in the conference finals, Vancouver won't make it that far because they only have one line, one terrific line, but one line nonetheless...

Colorado -- I hate Patrick Roy more than anybody in the game (except for Owen Nolan, that cheap *%@$), their time is done...

and all you Canadiens hoping for a return of the cup....yeah right....let's see if Ottowa can get out of the first round this year. It has been 9 years since a Canadien team even appeared in the finals, let alone win it. On top of that, if it were'nt for Gretzky and his Oilers of the 80's Canada could only claim 3 Cup champs out of the last 24 years!! Canada's time is done, I'm surprised they still have teams up there....

I gotta pull for the cubs of hockey, Go Blues. Did any one catch that Wings-Blues brawl last saturday. There was a message sent, the blues can't play hockey but they can kick you're a$$. Probably be out by the second round.
