| Just wondering roughly what the farthest you've gone on a wake to wake jump? I'm gonna be riding behind a 43 foot lobster boat with roughly a 5 foot draft. I'll be riding about 24 mph but it's a good 30-40 feet across the wake. Wake size however is not a problem and theres a real nice tranny. |

| Finishing this year's studies, stupid school but hopefully will be on the board before the end of may. This is the same make of boat as we have. Four foot wakes without any load in the boat. Boat can carry 25000 lbs. Throw a couple tanks of ice or water on the stern and your laughin. |

Transition then...someone's mind's in the gutter. I don't know if that term's used in wakeboarding. |

HAHAHA, dude that wake sounds like a wall, I would love to try to hit that too. be sure to take it nice and easy for a start and only cut about 500% as hard as you normally do _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

It's a 430hp Volvo turbo diesel. Inboard with a 2.5 inch stainless steel shaft and a 44 inch four bladed prop. I fish lobster with my father in the spring of the year and he just dropped the volvo in last year. Wakeboarded behind it twice with a crappy setup, just bought my own this year. Can't wait.
The biggest thing is how linear the power is, it's a torque monster. |

| That's not my boat, although we do have a mast. That actually to hold the boat straight while your fishing certain species. I'm actually gonna build a pylon that uses the mast brackets. Dont think the mast would hold the forces, probably rip itself outta the floor. Plannin on about a 8 foot pylon, and the floor of the boat is about 2 feet off the water. |

Random Boarder, you have got to get pictures of riding behind that!!! That sounds awesome!
With that wake, I'm not sure what to expect in how far you'd get (w2w). But you should have plenty of time in the air to develop some new tricks! |

This is my first real year wakeboarding, but I've been snowboarding for a few and have no fear in the water. Been hittin the gym lately to get ready for it can't wait. There'll be pics come summer once we get a little time behind it. I've gotten 5-6 feet of air on a 3 seater seadoo following the boat so i'm thinkin it'll be wild once we get goin.
Should I let go of the rope on the first couple attempts or try to ride the first one's out. I think i'm gonna be up there a while to think about it. |

My dad is an ex-NAVY and we have a boomer class submarine as our towboat. The wake is kind of washy but we never have to buy gas. The engine is a nuclear powerplant. _________________ Crownsville Wakeboard Team |
