| Been wakeboarding off and on for a while but now a new boat owner so using my own setup. Not sure about the best rope length for intermediate level rider (using a tower). Basically working on the Progressive Edge technique and getting as much pop as possible. Thoughts? Thanks! |

| i usaully ride about 4 feet infront of where the wake crest's over. You pretty much have to find your own spot because it's going to be different on each boat you ride. Get out one day and figure it out. good luck |

Missed the "rope size" post. Looks like 70' give or take is the consensus. I'm so new I don't even know how long my rope is It just feels a little long to me. But...I'll find out when I get to the house! Thanks! |

Its all a matter of preference and where the best spot on your wake is, just gota play around with it some _________________ Only live once, why waste. |

its all preferance but most of the intermiatate guys i ride with usally go about 65ft out and remember with a longer rope you will probably need to go faster _________________ Is What Your Living for Worth Dying for

| I'm not sure what rope length suits my boat. However, I would like to get something longer than what I already have- I'm at about 50ft right now behind a 7ft pylon. Do they sell ropes that have removable sections? This would allow me to experiment and determine the ideal length. If so, are these ropes any good and how do they work? What are the typical length ranges for these? Otherwise, I'll end up buying a certain length of rope that may or may not be suitable. |

your rope length should be no longer than 45 feet of nylon rope. Anything longer is just unnecessary and goofy looking. And the whole point of wakeboarding to to look good. _________________ Crownsville Wakeboard Team |
