put your board in front of your feet out your feet all the way together then jump. How your feet land should be your binding position don't move your feet just let them move them selfs.

The best stance is the stance u feel most comfortable in. The stance that allows for the most control. My stance is to have both feet slightly ducked out and centered on the board.

try standing on the board (whatever way you stand naturally) without bindings on it and try to position the bindings exactly how you stood on it.........

Optimally you want your knees to touch. You might have to drill new holes in your board to achieve this, however. If you dont have the tools to do it, your local hardware store can probably help.

ive never heard of people having their knees touch when they first start wakeboarding. I always tell my friends that when they first started wakeboarding, that they should have both feet slightly back so they can keep their weight back and not get pulled by the boat so far foward that they flip over. I am not so sure that your method will work but i cant say anything because i have not tried it. I might just go out and try this... or maybe i'll have my brother try it if im too lazy. He still is trying to go wake to wake and im getting frustrated and i might just have to have him try this method because he is still a "beginner"
