Old board question and board length question

Last year was my first year out riding and I bought a used board off of Ebay to get me started and learn some of the basic things including getting up out of the water. The board has done me well but it is old(no bindings just a place to put your feet and clamp them down but they still can move and hurt if you come down wrong on it). Currently with the wakeboard that I have it has one fin in the back and is quite thick and heavy. With it my brother and I aren't able to get very much air off of the wakes, would a newer lighter boards help in that, creating more pop? Also I am 6'0" and 160 pounds what size board should I get?

Wakenoob, definitely go for a new board. proper bindings have been in use since 1994 at least, and new boards are light and poppy. Time to look for a new board and bindings. You should take a look into the Liquid Force Omega with Alphas. Get the 142, easier landings.

Deffinetly get a board with some decent bindings that will help alot with trying to get some bigger air and a new board will do a alot to hellp you to.

Yeah some new stuff would help u out a bunch. Since your 6' i would go for somthing around a 140 and up. Having some good bindings and new board with better fins will help u alot with control and pop

Pretty much anything will be a great improvement over what you're riding now. Go to your local shop and see what sort of deals they have, and ask about a demo program. That's the best way to ensure you get the right board for you. You probably want to be in the 137-141cm range.
