It's a great way to learn to ride in general. You have to hold your edge alot harder, and land precise....but when you put the fins back on you will dig nicely(you should). It's also fun for surface 360's and such.

Take the damn things off and try it. If you don't like it, put em back on. It is simple.

I rode for a year and a half with 3 fins on each end of my Belmont 141 and this year I decided to take the center fins out, and what a HUGE difference it made. It took me 2 or 3 sets to get used to the feel of it, but now I love not having the center fins. I can break the board loose for slides and I'm also pulling out of landings that I would have faceplanted on before because my board would only go in one direction.
I'd say take them out. It helps you learn how to control your board better.

Personally i dont really like the fins on my board it makes it hold to much i like the loose feel but ya when the fins are off the landing is going to be alot different then with the fins on.
