you'll be buying a lot of gas...holding speed might be an issue with an inexperienced driver also. _________________ Don't look at me in that tone! |

| i rode in a fountain last summer. not sure what kind it was but it was a single engine probably around 27 feet and it's wake was very wide and washy. im sure you could use it as a towboat but as siuski said above you will be using a lot of fuel and will probably have trouble holding speed since it is an i/o and probably has a high pitched prop. |

| if you want a wakeboard boat that is not the best boat for it. if you want a boat to cruise, look cool, and go fast it's a good boat. if you can get a really good deal on it go for it and if you dont like boarding behind it or decide you dont like it sell it for more than you paid and buy a wakeboard boat. just make sure you're getting a good deal and you can get your money back out of it first if you take that approach. |

| This is my opinion but I think those kind of boats are a big (huge) waste of money. They are practical in no way. |

If you want to wakeboard/ski, there is no replacement for an inboard tournament type ski/board boat. _________________ Check out https://www.facebook.com/darcizzleoffshore |

Isn't that a power boat? The hull won't keep a good plane at a low controllable speed, so wake to wake would be very wide and washy. It is very important for your wakes to shape up and hold their form, it would be a major struggle to keep a good riding wake. It will also be a process to turn around for pickups too. I don't see burning gas as an issue, you burn a lot more gas when you open it up and fly across the waterways.
Wes said it though, make sure it is the type of watercraft you want to get. There will always be great deals out there, especially if you are willing to travel for the pickup. |
