Remember how freaking windy it was last spring? Well so far we are not off to a good start in terms of it being any better this year. I will still ride, but the wind is one more thing that you have to deal with.

Phil,
Don't be a squirt and grow up. If people want to talk weather in Norcal, it's their perogative. Get over it. We don't down on you SE guys when you talk about the water being to red and muddy down there.

Today ain't looking so hot wind-wise. NWS is calling for up to 10mph this weekend, which is good news for us!

it's been so freakin windy this year. I've ridden 4 times this year and each time has been 15mph+ winds (one day 25mph+). White caps every time. Geez. We usually manage to find a decent spot but the resistence from the wind makes landing new tricks difficult.

Dude, you are 14...snack on your animal crackers?

I still havent gotten my first lick yet and with this wind i dont know that i mind waiting a few more days.

Thats Sacramento for you though...especially later in the afternoon the wind always seems to pick up.

Delta probably isnt too bad.

G-Money, last weekend it was blowing at 20 or so above the levees, but on the water's surface it caused no more than a light ripple. This depended heavily on which way the slough faced, but I can tell you that Twins/Railroad/Vics were all fairly smooth.

We have been launching out of Rivers End and the water has been pretty nice. Trunked it last two times out. Not too much debris. Going out again this Saturday. Should be a nice day.

Got the new boat and Chris is riding today for the first time since last May.

I'm sure we'll find some smooth water somewhere!

Scott - last weekend the gage was reading 64-65 degrees.

chavez, have you made any recent trips to Folsom?

What are the chances of finding some good water on the weekend?

G-Money,
I know you asked Chavez, but I've been out a few times so far to Folsom. River still seems a little sketchy. Missed last weekend, but there was decent water to be had. We just had to look for it. There are riders and wallys out, but not too many yet. We've been riding around rattlesnake.

Juiced4ever- were you on the Delta, or were you at one of the lakes?

All the other Nor*Cal riders that have responded to this post- We will be out at Folsom Lake tommorow around noon riding on the opposite side of 5% beach, so if you see me, say what's up. My boat is attached so that you know what it looks like.
