| Yea I usually go at about 24, but I also do this beacause I ride behind a big boat and the wake is huge, at higher sppeds the wake gets a little smaller |

I ride at 22mph but for a beginner I'd suggest 20mph or less. From there adjust the rope length to find the best spot in the wake. This ranges 10-15 feet depending on what boat I'm on. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone. |

I feel most comfortable at 22MPH. I'm 220 pounds and approaching 34. _________________ Wakeboarding is so Kool in Ireland! |

I used to ride at 22+mph but now I ride at 20mph. It feels much more comfortable, the falls hurt a lot less, and I catch less edges on jumps that are a little off. _________________ So, I've got that goin' for me...which is nice! |

it depends on the wake...slower can equal washed out -- faster can equal less ramp/smaller wake
on my i/o it was 2400 rpms
I have a new Malibu V ride coming and I guess I am going to find out.... |

The more important question here should be "When I wakeboard naked, should I worry about girls seeing my shrinkage?" _________________ Crownsville Wakeboard Team |
