|
|
Hy,Now Im riding O`Brien Ambush with Chaser boots. I decided to change the bindings these season. Ok but there are two problems. The only decent bindings I can get here are hyperlite, and I dont have a lot of money. So Im thinking about Hyperlite Era or 3DS. does anyone have any experiences with these two bindings? Are 3DS really that much better? Oh and will both of these bindings fit my bord?
Tnx for help |

If you can buy online, I'd go with the o'brien 'links'. Not expensive, great pads, nice design, nice support. _________________ The horror...... the horror. |

Both bindings will fit your board, but you might have to get shorter screws - the O'brien inserts (in the board) are shorter than Hyperlites, so the Hyperlite screws will be a bit too long. You could also just get extra washers and use them to take up the extra space.
As for those bindings, yes, they are both good. The 3DS are not necessarily better than the Era, they're just different. I suggest trying them both on and seeing which you like more. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose though. |

I was thinking of ordering from buywake, but shipping is very expensive(economy with special discount is $245). Trying them both is not an option, because I am ordering the direct model through our diller. I will talk to my diller about the screws. I will probably go with 3DS, because the comments for High Back on WakeWorld were a little better. But im still not sure
One more thing, I am a size 11 and I read the other topic so I guess its probably best to go with L??My foot is very thin and long.
And I would like to ask, how often do you normaly change your bindings??
Thanks for all the help |
