My dad has been trying to find a good tower.... I tell him the monster tower is good and lots of people have them a very popular tower and good pricing.... but he seems to still not want to listen to me.. ...... Now he's thinking about a pylons..... im not quite sure on pylons and i don't think they would look right on our boat.... i don't know its just weird, anyways he says he's not definatly getting a pylon he's just looking at them....
Tell me some things that will persuade him not to get the pylon if he does..... Thanks .. Embarassed

show him a ton of reviews for monster towers and the price. that should be enough. tell him towers are far superior to pylons because they dont take up as much space, you dont need to worry about tightening the strap, they dont flex, and they look nicer than pylons

Dont forget that with a tower you can get board racks that completely get theom out of the boat creating more usable space since you wont be bumping into them. Wink

Tell him to do a search in the classifieds section of Pylon's for sale...He'll see a ton of them, Why you might ask?...b/c people who get pylon's tend to upgrade to a tower within the year. Because it gets everything out of the way for the reason's joedirt00 said.

We have a pylon, it works great....it's just always in the way. It's like our jungle gym in the back of the boat, it's a pain really. And I always gotta make sure the board won't fall over and hit the pylon base(we have no board racks). It seriously is a hassle. It's just a cheaper alternative to something done better.

Looks are definitely upgraded by a tower, and you might add that towers always add value to the resale price of a boat, and will make the resale faster, as some people don't want to go through the trouble of buying a boat without a tower and then adding one. Really, the Monster Tower is the way to go, because you can't beat the price and what it costs you is roughly the same as what you get extra for resale.

Go with a tower. You can go way out to the side and pull the boat all over the place if you want without doing any damage. An extended pylon has no sideways support and you can risk damaging the boat's pylon's u bolts or the angle plate which is glassed into the hull.

With a tower you can add lights, board racks and speakers to pimp your ride!

Tell him ripping the bottom out of the boat due to a pylon is more about the benjamins then a 1k tower.
