I have tried doing a heelside frontside OA 360, im not sure what im doing wrong but it seems that once i initiate the spin and have my back towards the boat i completly lose control of it and spin back around but in the position of a face plant, whats the initial setup of the trick coming off the wake, also should i be cutting fast into the wake or slower and using the pop of the board to get height and land wake to wake, i have been approaching the wake like a backroll but not as intense.

When I do h/s off axis spins this is that I do:

Cut in from about 10-12 feet - some what progressively - you don't have to edge too hard to get alot of pop.

Flatten off a little at the base of the wake.

Next, this is the important part, pause off the top of the wake and go UP and OVER the handle. This will make the handle pass and spin effortless.

Grab the handle and spot the landing.

I don't remember where I read this tip, but it works for me... Just imagine drawing a big rainbow in the air behind you with the tip of your board as you rotate. It's all I think about and it works.

Oh, and try to pass the handle way underneath you - like at the small of your back or under your butt. It seems like the more "over the handle" you are at mid rotation, the easier it is to get yourself back into an upright position as you come out of the spin. If you're reaching too far back toward the boat at mid-rotation, there's a good chance you're gonna eat it.
