colefooter, I just wanted to say that I appreciate your post, not only did you tell our newbie friend to search for the topic , but you took the time to look them up yourself and post them as links. thats hard to find these days as everyone is always in such a hurry. Now about getting more air, obrienwkbrd101 , the board you have , the O'Brien Buzz , is a continuous rocker board. this means that the board has a smooth transition on the bottom (if you didnt already know that). The guys you say who are getting huge air , more than seems possible , most likely have a 3 stage rocker , meaning that the board is somewhat flat on the bottom , allowing you to get more pop. Im not telling you to get a new board , cause we all know how much it sux to have to buy a new one , unless you really want it, but a 3 stage would help. maybe you could find a friend whos got one who will let you try it out. also , keep lots of tension on the line (no stretch line!!) , and like it was said before make sure you stand tall at the wake. bending your knees will only obsorb the impact and you wont get any pop at all. hope this all helps , good luck with it!! _________________ "I just want something more than to come home in my cool looking SUV, sit in my king sized leather recliner and watch reality television on my widescreen plasma TV...How easy it is to care for someone when you dont have anything else..." |

sorry but your wrong. different rocker doesnt give you more air it gives you different air. you get the same amount of hangtime its just up vs out. watch any video of murray, he goes crazy huge and has always ridden continuous. |

Ya there's so many guys that ride continuous that go huge, murray, shapiro and especially sharpe, he won the biggest air at the Parks Double or Nothing contest on a continuous (actually abrupt continuous if you want to be picky, but continuous nonetheless). |

Jama, i think colefooter just suggested that because this is a very common and non-specific question. _________________

| well......the rocker does make a bit of a difference, but it just mainly controls your speed and pop, the rest has to do with your mechanics AND your wake. If you have a really small, soft wake, your not gonna get to wehre they are...if you have a nice steep and firm wake, your gonna be lofting like a mutha fu*ka if your standing tall...another thing that you may be seeing when they are going absoulety ginormous, is a double up, or even a tripple up |
