Try the trick tips forum. Lots of useful info on this topic. But basically, it's progressive all the way up to the wake. _________________ (insert funny chit here) |

| You do a tantrum cut. Not a backroll cut. Not even a 360 cut. A tantrum cut. |

| don't do a progressive cut. start off about 10-15 feet from the wake, start your cut hard and hold your edge right to the wake then let go with your back hand and "catch" your edge on the top of the wake and open your chest to the shoreline while throwing your head back, this will get you into the rotation. The faster you cut, the faster you will flip, and the langer you wait to "catch" your edge, the bigger you will go. |

ar230border,
Again, this belongs in the trick tips forum. You can delete your own thread and re-ask in that forum if you want.
Ctipping,
Don't do a progressive cut? What are you talking about? Just because you open up and don't hold your edge at the wake doesn't make it a NON-progressive cut. You described a progressive cut in your own post.
ar230border,
Read this.

| ar230border, DEFINATLY do a progressive cut. This will get you a ton more speed than just plowing into the wake. Just do the progressive cut and try to get a nice amount of speed at the wake. Then you know how it goes from there. |

| oshensurfer, colefooter, when i do tannys, i start super close and just hammer on it....thats what I described......progressive edge I find tends to give you the pop when you catch the edge..... |

Ctipping,
You originally said not to do a progressive edge, then you described one, now you're saying it's what works for you? WTF? You're not making sense.
You want to take the Tantrum UP, not out. That's why you need the speed to carry it across the wake. If you can take it big, the out just happens.
Nevermind. The question is answered anyway. _________________ (insert funny chit here) |

| ontrider, HAHA I just saw some. His head is like his axis of rotation. Ctipping, all of your trip flips would benefit soooo much with a bigger cut. You weret even clearing the wake on some of your TS backrolls! |
