Refurb means thy had a problem at first and they were fixed so they tech should be as good as new. _________________ They know what is what but they dono what is what they just strut. |

| i hope you are not putting these in your boat!! those subs require massive boxes that you will not have room for in a boat |

| In a sealed box, the min is .88cu ft. I don't think that's too-too bad. But it would need to be powered properly. I had one of those in my old boat and that think hit HARD. Also, I agree, refurbished should be good as new (assuming refurbished by Kicker itself, of course) |

I just used a Kicker KX450.2 bridged...which is around 550 RMS. It was more than enough for me, and even annoying if it wasn't turned down. I had it under the seat and it gave some mean massages when turned up!! It rattled the hell outta things, which I didn't like. On my new boat, the sub will be under the steering, not the seat anymore.
I don't remember, but I think I put it in a 1.5-1.67 cu ft box that I built.
In a ported box, I think it would be unbelievably loud!!! |
