Well finally after months and months of doing them inside out & one wake I landed wake to wake HS blind 180's today. Landed 2 with falls in between & then 3 back to back, last one in to the flats on 83 foot rope @ 23mph. STOKED! Got really close to blind 3 on a couple of over cooked attempts, will get that next week hopefully. First totally new trick in 3 years. STOKED. The old dog has life in him yet. Did I mention STOKED! Pics next week.

Or, you make it all the way around but go O/A and the nose of your board goes in the second wake and you go right over the nose and do cartwheels. Confused

yeah i did the exact same thing on a blind 180 w2w, sprained my ankle real bad on it. If you want to try blind 180s w2w, make sure you can stay on axis when you spin.

I learned those the past summer, they are a sweet trick to learn. I never really had any bad falls though yet, and i have them pretty consistent. I guess you just gotta lean away from the boat and you won't catch the painful edges ha. I like doing them and landing wrapped, they look cooler Cool

Honestly, grabbing indy really helps the trick out. It keeps you nice and compact and you pass right as you land. Plus it makes it look that much more stylie.

I got a few telephone books in the back of the head but not enough to put me off. I know I'm not going to be doing mobes anytime soon so "style" tricks have been on my dream list for a while. Stalefish to blind is the grab spin combo I really want the most, when i grab that way I bone the leg forward, then spinning back the other way should look cooooool.

I learn't this trick by popping it inside out on start up, the boats only doing 14-15mph so even if you catch a heel edge its not too bad. For me the break through was spotting the bank after doing the handle pass, it gets you on your toes and keeps you on axis and stops you from over rotating. After getting it dialed inside out I started doing it one wake at 21mph, the slower speed makes the wakes much wider @ 83 foot & means you can pop up & down comfortable without casing the other wake. Also the slower speed really helps with the "crap, I'm going to worked" fear as you come into the wake.

Toe 5 next I think then maybe TS BS 180. I need some TS tricks to balance my riding out.

Got pics today. Was getting a bit off axis today but still managed to ride away and got it sorted in the end. Also got 3x blind 3's back to back. The only one I got on video had an ugly butt check at the end but you get the idea.

Just got to clean it up a bit & get it bigger now....

Yes, winter is almost here. Summer was awesome, best in memory. I'm not playing Rugby this year so I'll ride a bit through winter to keep the rust away. Plus I'm coming to the states in june and will get a bit of riding in then.
