Nikon Coolpix 7900 and 5600

Anyone have the opportunity to own/play with one?

I'm taking this Nikon course on Digital Photography and it's interesting to see what the instructors have been able to do with these cameras.
Inexpensive and comes with underwaterhousing.
Makes me sick that I spent so much for the D100 3yrs ago, but at least I know I now have the option to buy something that's easier to travel with.

that looks like a pretty nice little camera.

I think for a photography class you would want something with manual apature and f-stop. and a inter-changeable lens? like a digital SLR.....they are pretty expensive though.

Already have the Digital SLR......Too bad it's the 1st generation Nikon D100, because the D70m has alot more /better features Evil or Very Mad

I was looking for an easy to carry travel camera for fun. Need to do a little more research on those Cool Pixs.

Nikon has some nice 1 day digital classes. A lot of info to absorb in 8hrs.
