|
|
| Me and my friend are pretty new to wakeboarding but he just built a ramp and possilbly a little later a slider. I'm assuming you have to take off the fins in order to ride these. Do you ride without the fins only then or what? Any tips for riding without the fins? |

| So when you hit the kicker it doesnt damage your fins? Our fins are about 1", I believe. |

Actualy when i hit the kicker my fins carve into te kciker and come out unharmed but after a full kicker day it looks white and clean again _________________ They know what is what but they dono what is what they just strut. |

| you could break the fin but you probably wont. you could also cause damage to the slider. |

| i think at slider parks they require people to take their fins off especially if they are metal fins. ive never hit a slider but id do it finless but my board has molded fins. |

at Texas Ski Ranch I think that fins over 1.5" and the metal ones are required to be taken off. I take mine off regardless. I just like having my board even on the surface I am hitting _________________ Keep Austin Weird |

| The plastic fins don't break, but the bolts holding them on might. I take them off and leave them off anyways now. |

| I have molded in fins so I still have the grip when I take them off...and if your boardsliding its should be alright...but 50-50 I suggest you take them off just in case |

| What about molded fins? Will they get busted on kickers? I've got an 05 LF Substance and the molded fins are about 0.7 in long- should I stay away from kickers? |

sorry its not related to fins, but when you slide on a rail, does it damage a LOT the cosmetic of your wakeboard or it aint THAT bad? _________________ ''If you're surrounded by a bunch of idiots, and they all agree, it doesn't mean they are right. It simply means they are idiots.'' |
