backroll probably. keep the handle glued to your lead hip and ride the wake all the way to the top. I start the rotation by kicking off with my back foot at the lip. Good luck it's a fun trick. |

I like the ts backroll, but the scarecrow is fun too _________________ The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.

You could try a TS Front roll it is just like a frontflip just try to over rotate. |

backroll and scarecrow i think are pretty equal. Toeside frontrolls are quite harder to learn but once you got 'em they are fun as hell. The landings are so clean, no spray. I need to learn T Raleys and front flips(2). |

I would definitely say the scarecrow. Just put most of your weight on your front foot and it will flip you right into it. |

yep either a scarecrow, toe side front or a ts backroll. I got my toeside fronts down scarecrows are just a front with a 180 i am having trouble with my ts backs though they are tougher than i thought _________________ -- Spin Dizzy --

why is a scarecrow easier than a front roll? It seams like it would be easier because u do not have to spin just front roll. and you have your momentum also.

Funny thing is, a scarecrow is easier because you can just huck it around behind you. It's a good idea to learn a true front roll first, it teaches better control. The trick on that one is you have to wait real good to pop up, then stay tucked longer than you think you should.
My best toeside backrolls come when I just think of doing a big ts straight air, then once I'm in the air, I throw my head back (I think this is the easiest invert to grab also). |

i think got it now.... you have keep a straight forward rotation on a front roll...
and on a scarecrow you just throw it
Is that it? _________________ GOT NAUTIQUE? |

Sorry, I didn't mean to make a crow sound bad. I just noticed that with mine, I get lazy and sometimes just flop my crows around like a dirty switch tantrum(scarecrow = frontroll with 180) and with the frontroll you have to stay tucked and keep the handle on your lead hip as best as you can so you don't open up. I may be wrong, that's just what I noticed with mine. |

Want2ride, cool man! Thanks! I see you're from Layton. I'm hoping you plan on making it to the WakeUtah events this year, they'll be way fun. And just to stay on topic...ts inverts rock! |

If you learn tricks in a logical progression moving on to harder tricks will be easier....Sounds like this is what you are tryn' to do...
So if you can do a HS backroll go for the TS backroll. (progressive edge flip)
If you can do a Tantrum go for the TS frontroll. (trip flip)
If you can do both of those HS tricks and or more already the choice is up to you based on what you feel most comfortable with. You should have the fundamentals down to try the 3 most common.
TS backroll
Scarecrow
TS frontroll
People usually learn them in that order.
