(i know its been done) but which board?

i have an 04 HL era and its starting to fall apart. i like my era and wanted to either get the 05 era or get a diff. board. have any of you ridden any of these boards and have comments:

05 HL Era 132/137

no i havent ridden any of those, but if its falling apart shouldnt you be able to send it to HL on warranty?

Of those I would take the Substance.

The Substance would also be a good choice.

cwaker4, its falling apart from non-warranty things. ie: sliders (and you can tell), dropping it accidentaly, etc

You should ask to test them for a day (or a ride)

I'm going to test some Liquid Force soon:
Team 134 and 139 with sphynx and alfa boots and the Omega as well
I can have them for a day or 2 to test...

yea we can do that at our local shop but i was just seeing if anyone had some negative comments on them.

now tht i think of it i was kinda looking for an era with an aggressive rocker. any ideas?

wakejunkie137, I don't know about agressive, but the GB Gonzales is essentially the same shape with a bigger rocker.

If you want a much larger rocker with a similar ride, check out the CWB Absolute.

adss more pop, but slows the board downa tiny bit as far as pop. . ..5 alot, .15 meh a little

i rode 04 substance all last season and am going to buy a 05 substance this year i love it going from a 34 to a 38 though

I like how people are throwing out suggestions and you haven't even said what your riding style is. The Substance and Team are completely different boards. Just to warn you, the Substance seems to be a love it or hate it board. If you ride tail heavy like Watson, it's great. If you ride with your weight even you won't be so psyched on it. From what you have said the Premier might be a good choice. It's very similar to the Era, but a bit more aggressive all around.
