you'd be lucky to have riding, and switch riding somewhat down by that time depending on how much you actually ride.......its just like with anything , you can't just step in and expect to be good and win contests, first you have to put in the hard (fun) work

buckthis, ahaha. dont forget to have her sign the contract by "always wear revealing clothing".

vanessa, a quote I have always lived by "If you see, feel and dream yourself doing it. You can."

I never did this, but videos are always a good thing to learn from. I have no suggestions. I see 2 video's over in the corner.

vanessa, In a competition you have to mix up your tricks(don't use the same trick in the same pass)

That will give you better Compesition.(can't spell) Rolling Eyes

what was that sentence even attempting to say? lol. that there's a head scratcher.

anyway, just keep getting out on the water, and you will progress. don't rush it, but steady progression is possible if you practice enough. as for july, go ahead and enter the contest. the worst thing that will happen is you lose. you'll still have a hell of a time.

wakeboarding takes time, im not too sure you will be as elite as you think by july. surface 360's (i consider) are pretty tough when your first starting out. not saying dont go in the competition but wakeboardings all about time and practice. and i forgot fun but thats not what were talking about. Very Happy

I just bought the book- its a great dvd- for Noobs. Getting the basics right, is whats most important for beginners like myself, and the book teaches the things you should know before you think you can just do big time TV moves. Colorful

vanessa, the best is to take some one who can ride with you and listen to his/her tips...

If you pay my flight and hotel (from Belgium), I'll come to Signapore and teach you
(after I've seen you pickture of course)

Wink

did anyone else think it was a little funny that you can get points for standing on the board , adjusting your shorts , and waving to someone in the INT League novice competition?

I entered a novice competition after riding for 5 weeks. Needless to say I didn't do very well. Tied for last place Laughing . But you have a lot more time than I did. Also the wake on the competition boat was a lot bigger than I was used to. I went huge on my first trick, but didn't land it. I should have adjusted my shorts more Rolling Eyes maybe then I could've gotten sole possession of next to last place!

Good Luck and be sure to let us know how you do! GO BIG!!
