Do you guys have a particular brand of binding lube that you like???

I'm getting ready to buy a gallon jug and was just wondering if I should switch brands or if they are all the same and just get whats cheaper.

I like Toe Jam because it's the most environmentally friendly (and it smells good). The only problem with it is it gets a little thick if it's cold. Connelly Binding Slime and Babe's Boot Butter tie for second place.

Dishsoap doesn't do crap to bindings. They lied to you. Personally I stole a tube of Newt Juice from my friend.

Dish soap will most likely not do any harm to bindings in the short term, but if you are keeping them for several years with frequent use you may consider a lube alternative.

More importantly, your motor is already dumping enough petroleum waste into the waters, if your going to use dish soap use a vegetable based soap, better for the water even better for gas prices. Idea

Nothing, if I get them on dry. (Thank you LF bindings 04-05. Neoprene liner!)

But if I do use anything, its gladiator foot slick. Good stuff. Pick it up at overtons.

dont need any with the new LF alphas and that sick neoprene liner. but everyone else uses either newt juice or dawn dish soap, its cheap, it cleans your foot and smells lemony fresh.

Pimp Jooz or whatever is cheaper and then I dilute it with some water to make it last longer.

You can also get free samples from some manufacturer's if you email them. I just got one in the mail the other day.

Whatever is in the boat.....but binding lube.... Duck Butter, Newt Juice, Binding Slime, generic stuff from West Marine or wherever. We always have a few bottles of lube lying around the boat....someone yells for slime and we throw them the closest bottle.

The guys I boat with are very good about keeping things like that in the boat. Every now and then, they will just show up with some.

Astroglide Mr. Green

I also run CWB Zeuses, but still make it easy with a squirt of newt.

After my sister's bohemoth boyfriend ripped the overlays of my bindings trying to get his feet in my dad went and bought some toe jam. It's unnecessary for me but it works good for those with tighter fitting bindings. No complaints.

So do I, but I CAN NOT get into them without lubrication.

I like Babe's Boot Butter.
