|
|
I recently bought a ten foot pole pylon from someone. There is a C shaped bracket near top of pole, see pic., does anyone know what this is for? The guy I bought it from doesn't seem to know, he just told me were to mount it. Is this a part for a wakeboard rack?
Thanks for answer ahead of time!

My only guess would be a rope guid bracket. It is just missing the rope guide itself. The purpose of it is to keep the rope out further towards the transom and away from board racks and other crap

| Based on the heavy construction, I wonder if it is the mount for a board rack of some kind.

Yes its pretty heavy, with two holes on the top (of each one)and a button on the side that looks like something would lock into place, then when you push button you can release whatever you locked in place. Make sense?
Yeah I'm thinking its a bracket for a board rack, anyway I'm going to try to make a rack using these.
