88 ski supreme

Just joined and I have been searching for pictures of a boat similar to mine 1988 ski supreme (closed bow) but with upgrades. Does anybody have pictures so I can get some idea. thanks....

Kevin-
I used acrylic enamel paint in Ford E4 Red those graphics are not actually on yet, they are being printed as we speak, but they are going to be the last thing to go onto the boat.

what kind of prep work did you do to the hull before you painted it. did you prime it with anything? How much sanding did you do to before you painted it? And if you had it out how is the paint holding up, does it chip easy? and one last thing did you put a clear coat on the paint? thanks any info would be helpful. Ater seeing your boat it got me thinking about doing the same thing to mine. Later

We just sanded it down to where the shine was gone from the gelcoat, and then we wiped it down with wax and grease remover, then we primed it with a 2 part epoxy primer. then we wet-sanded it again and then wiped it down one more time with the wax and grease remover then applied the acrylic enamel. you typically don't use a clearcoat with acrylic enamel, but you can if you want. we didn't. I just plan on keeping it waxed very well. I have not had it out yet this year as we are wrapping up the ballast system install. If you have any more ?s feel free ta ask, i have done alot of work and don't mind sharing out what i have dicovered.
