|

I know that it defeats the purpose of wakeskating somewhat...but has anyone thought about attaching kiteboard bindings (if you call them that) to a wakeskate? It would be kind of cool because you would seem to have more freedom than a wakeboard, but you would have some attachment to the board.
Any thoughts? |

umm...that negates the purpose of wakeskating
foot. board. thats it. shoe optional, of course, depending on if you are standing on grip tape or not... _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com

hunterjah, that was interesting. Just go out and buy a little 124 kid wakeboard and go out and rock the kite. _________________ www.Crawlinbc.com |

That was why I said starting off that I knew it was kind of pointless...but it would be fun to try. Kind of a mix between the (in some peoples minds) the cumbersome wakeboard bindings and the complete freedom of the wakeskate. I just read in Alliance about Brett Van den Huevel (sp?) and his horrific leg shatter wakeskating...
In any event...just curious...I won't be modifying my Byerly anytime soon
Next one...anyone thought about attatching a windsurfer sail to your wakesurfer? |

| Thats genius. we can put bindings on our wakeskate so we can do flips and spins easier. why hasnt anyone thought of that before. oh wait someone has thought of it. its called wakeboarding youre just using sandal bindings instead of boots. |
