Are you using a 6" coupler and a end cap fused together with a small 6" piece of pipe?

I'm doing the same thing. Actually, I bought 2 couplers today ($7/each) from a plumbing specialty store. I was going to get the caps there and they wanted $24/each for the caps. I said "I'll try Lowes or Home Depot." I think they were less there.

What are you using to finish the seam? Bondo?

Not sure yet what I am going use. I may leave the small gap in case I have to open ever. I have glue the end piece to the pipe yet I think I may screw it together in case I want to open it

those look pretty good.
you can prolly make a couple bucks selling some of those on ebay.
just paint them and your done.
if you do decide to sell some let me be the first to know.
I just don't have the time or tools here while i am in college to make them
though it looks like it won't take much

I think that I'm going with the INFINITY 6.5 in. INI 652I speakers.
Here's a photo below. [/url]

I'm thinking about having 4 of these.

How do you plan on mounting the speakers to the tower?

I'm either going to use some u-bolts covered with black hose (to prevent scratching of my tower) or order some brackets from ryno-gear.

we made ours the same way with 6" caps on both ends, then covered them in vinyl. To mount them we welded up some tube and plate and then powdercoated them to match the tower.
