I heard it's really hard to get air in a cable park without a wake. How do you do it? I know it's possible .... but is it possible for someone who just goes w2w behind a boat (no flips) ..???

| hey lady thump are you driving out to the kc water park thing? how far is that from lake stl if you are? i'm about an hour and a half or so from lake stl, an hour if i'm driving at like 3 in themorning when there is no traffic |

Its the same technique as is used in Kitesurfing 
Lots of edge, then release ~ when you are ready. You could also wait until you just get pulled off the water, but is much harder to stay in control.

hey how does kiteboarding work?
you would think that you actually use a kite but then if you do then how does it have the power to pull you and theres no chop on the water?
and then what happens to the kite when you fall?
im so confused

when you bail at a cable park, it kinda sucks because you have to get swim over to the side of the lake and walk all the way back...my suggestion, bail as close to the launch as possible.

WeWantEazy07, yea Ski Rixen. Its around the Boca Raton Area in quiet waters park. I went there a few years ago and basically, I didnt like it. I think they are overrated and a pain in the butt cuz they make you kneeboard if it is your first time to get a "feel of how a cable park turn works" And you cant hit sliders your first time!
Im sure it would have been more fun if I didnt have to kneeboard and could have hit sliders but I still think it was cool to try and recommend trying it to anyone that can but Ill stick to behind a boat. |

The Ski Rixen cable park is in Deerfield Beach Fl at Quiet Waters park. It is a great place to learn as long as you don't fall from the far end of the park because then you have to walk all the way back  ...other than that it is a pretty nice place. I hated it because i dropped my wakeboard on my toe as i was getting out of the water so it kinda sucked because that ended my session , but its pretty much a great place to go.

wakeboardwillis, all you do is get the kite full and strap in. Once the board planes off you are good to go. I don't know how to do a deepwater start, only a beach start.
