Anybody ever see or make some board racks that could attach to the bow rail? Seems like a good place to put the boards, especially in my closed bow boat with no tower.

it would obstruct your view..

if you are sitting down and all you can see is above the boards, that would nott be good

I did see one that attaches to a railing but just looked through all my saved links and can't find it again.

My concern when I saw this was it was a problem waiting to happen. Check out under your bow rail, it's probably like 1/4" or smaller bolts with no backing plate, just a washer and a nut. I would be concerned that it would cause some serious gelcoat damage from the stress of the racks.

The bow rail was built for you to grab on to, not for wakeboard racks.

Yeah, I guess I do need to see where I'm driving and really don't want to rip the entire bow rail off just to save a little room. Guess I could do the easy thing a and just get a rack for my pylon.
Thanks, Keith

Keith,

Check out eBay, there are some pylon racks that go there very reasonable once in a while. If you have a pylon that's definately the way to go.
