Skateboard deck as wakeskate?

I was just wondering if you could use a skateboard deck to wakeskate with, with a few modifications. I already searched for it and I could not find anything, so please post your input.

there have been other thoughts of this before but oh well. personally i have tried it and it didnt work what so ever. the deck isnt big enough to get you planing on the water. even if you went incredibly fast off the start it would be really hard because you would have a ton of foot drag.

It is possible but you would have to go quite fast (27 mph or so.) and if you fall it is going to hurt and the Skateboard is going to go a ways away from you so your going to have to do some swimming. Very Happy

Kento911, thats a really good idea. did you just use a flat deck and then make some kinda trucks and bolt a skate deck on top?

i was thinkin about that also..... but instead of maybe ruining the flat deck, just get some thick ply wood and screw the skateboard on top. of course you would have to cut the ply wood to the correct size. Rolling Eyes

Elevation, pretty much, it actually sucks, the skate deck is too small, all you can do is ollie and ride

Cuz I don't have any money! Not really but I dont have much to get a wakeskate and I was just seeing if anything could work without spending around 70-100 dollars for a flat.

Cool. One time I ordered one but they didn't get it for some reason and then three months later they said that didnt have it in stock. But i will see.

skateboard decks wont work by themselves, i dont know about if u added a second deck.

heck yeah! We straight done it last season cause we didn't have a wakeskate. It's possibles, but not optimals!

I watched this dude try to ride a cooler lid,,,,,,, actually two guys tried to ride it,,,,,,,,,

go try it for yourself to see what happens

you will have fun,,,, make sure the cooler is empty first
