Now I really do't understand how you start them. I'll watch videos of people starting the spin is mid air and it just make no sense to me. Is it anything like a snowboard rotation because I've got those down just fine or do you like pull in on the rope or something like that?

Nothing like a snowboard rotation... You pop, wait 'till you're in the air, then pull the handle to your hip to start the rotation... it's all in the rope...

Maestro's right. Nothing like snowboarding. Leave the wake first like its a normal wake jump then once you're in the air it's more about using the rope than anything. I would definately recommend learning your 180s first.

When you pop normally you should have the handle in fairly close to your waist. You will then initiate the spin by pulling the handle around from one hip to the other. Smile

One more thing, a nice way to get the feel for this is to learn to do surface spins imo. Wink
