Our new slider, what do you think?

I cant figure out how to post these to wakeboarder but here is the link. The day we put her in the lake patrol surfaced in our cove for the first time in like 3 yrs. Once we explained it they were like cool, have fun. How many people can say that’s happened? Also the pick of the injury is nasty so beware.

great looking slider. nice story with the patrol. If it's a floating slider that you take out I don't think they can do anything about it though. It's the perminant ones they don't like.

Ya it floats but that thing will never come out. It weighs a ton. we just keep it anchored close to the house

LFR it is made of wood , then we painted it with a wagner spraygun. The build actualy went very smooth and consumed alot of offseason down time.

Ctipping ya it was bad he fell right when he hit it. All of his weight hit where are initials are and pried up a screw holding that panel down. His ass went over the screw just thinking about it gives me the chills

I think we spent 500, maybe 600. The barrels and pvc were donated by a couple of friends.

Man I wouldn’t mind at all, but we actually built the thing without plans. The other two guys that played a major part in this worked at a place that built sets and backgrounds for parties. When I say we built it they were like pat clean up those wood scraps and if your lucky you can screw in a few screws that we pre drilled for you. I will ask him to draw something up, he will have no problem donating what he can to the wakeboarding brotherhood. I think we also have some video of the frame up I will try to get on wakepics

THEBROOKS, thanks man...as you can telll... http://forums.wakeboarder.com/viewtopic.php?t=38655 ...cops don't take kindly to permanent sliders here in Austin, so I sturdy floater would be great. Plus we have plenty of peeps here that have docks.
