Lake Austin gets a new Slider.....

Well, after many weeks of talking about it, they guys and girls from www.360wakeboard.com finally built themselves a bad boy of a slider. If you remember me posting picks of a slider before, well, the pigs in Black and White decided to tear it down. What 's a lake without a slider???? Lake Austin is drained once a year in order to kill the evil in which we call hydrilla. Also it gives everyone on the lake a chance to do maintance work on there respective docks. Well, the peeps at 360wakeboard decided to take advantage of the empty lake before it fills back up and make one hell of a sturdy slider. So i will shut up and let yall see.

now here are some recent pics.....these are the first people to hit it, the lake was filled lake two days afterwards..then the weather got shitty...I will post new shots whenever the rain stops.... Evil or Very Mad

Yea this one is built to withstand some beating. It's driven down deep into the mud, and no silly cop boat is going to pull this thing out!

No one gapped it, we barely had time to hit. I was responsible for most of the construction and i didnt even get to hit it. I will say that it was the fastest build yet, thanks to my cordless power tools. It only took us 5 hours. It really helped haveing 5 guys bust there ass on it to get it done. For those wondering, we used trex on the top and the guy sliding in the pictuces said that it was great. Best sliding material for the buck.

what happens when some kid tries climbing on the now loose timber? or someone tries to hit it from the goof end without checking it out first.

im so glad that there is not any 5-0 on the lake we ride... I can't imagine taking all that time to build it just to have those cops trash it...must suck

In the video clips.... it looks like the boat driver is a little to close. Maybe another 5-8 feet out would be nice.. Surprised

STPHNSN23, come on. Just let him do what he wants. Its a free country... you're not going to change his mind, why bother? Anyway, I agree with Scott M. A floating slider would be less sturdy, of course, but way more police-safe, so all that time and money going into building it would last much longer.
