Spring Upgrade

The original plan was to add tower, stereo & more to our '94 Ski Nautique;

Instead, broke down & traded in for a whole new ride: 2000 Air Nautique

Sweet boat, couple questions..

Is the outline of the "N", gelcoat or is that tape?

How did you get the tower finished like that?

Spider,

The N logo is gel coat. I'm not sure how the tower was finished; we are the 2nd owners. I assume it was special ordered from the CC factory or something; haven't seen too many colored FCT towers.

The plain white hull with subtle graphic look is really growing on me. It looks cool, yet classic at the same time.

Picked her up yesterday, and learned a few things:

1. The N logo on the hull is not gelcoat; it's tape, and it's coming off in some spots. I may just take it all off to leave a plain white hull with the AIR logo.

2. The finish on the tower is not anodized, it's paint (although a nice paint). I couldn't tell until I found a spot where it chipped off. A buddy says I can get it powder coated for a few hundred bucks. Maybe some day.

Small stuff; we're still pretty stoked for the upcoming season.
