I'm talking about the big 22 foot one. Anyone have any experience with this boat and/or its wake? I'm pretty close to buying one.

yes, i just bought a 2002 moomba mob V. it is so nice. i have 350lbs on each side of the engine and i tihnk 700 in the middle plus people. its a ok wake but some more weight would be better. its a nice solid boat. if you ever wanted to paint the tower you can only paint half of it cuz the lower part is not only bolter to the boat but glued to. but all in all i am very happy with it!!!!!! great price to!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my 01' mob v. We have 550 on each side of the enginge and 750 in the center and the wake is sweet, just as good as any other wake out there. Make sure you get the wake plate so you can adjust the shape of the wake and keep from porpusing(sp) at times. I will get come pictures of mine tomorrow or saturday we jsut got the new Moomba graphics put on the side like the lsv gravity edition, should be swwet looking. Any other questions feel free to ask.

I can get the mobius V for the same price as a direct drive Malibu Wakesetter, or the Tige' 21 d-drive. I really like the big V-drive, though. Just unsure because Moomba doesn't yet have the reputation for the big wakes yet. How much does the stock ballast (1 center bag) add? Will the stock wake be, at the very least, better than my old I/O wake? How do you feel about the carpet and upholstry (sp?)? Do they hold up? How does it handle in the chop? I am hours away from getting this boat.

The Mobius V is know for a huge wake the same as the SSV. The wake with jsut a 750 in the center wont be huge but once you put 550 on the side of the enging you have a monster wake. The wake with out weight will beat any I/O wake. Yea i know moombas interior isn't as nice as Malibus and Natiques but it is still good quality stuff just not finished as good. They have said this boat is the best chop handling boat out there and i bet it is right. Double ups are solid and you dont kill everyone in the boat. I would still take my 01 Mob V over a New 03 wakesetter.

Cool. I think I'm getting this boat tonight, and during the summer I'll ask for some fat sacks for the engine compartments for my birthday. I'm psyched, but nervous. Say, is yellow an acceptable color for a guy? NOt that it matters what anyone else thinks, but if I drop 35K on a toy, I don't want to get ripped on for the color. I like it, though.

Perfect pass is going to have to wait until next year. The wife is a pretty good driver, though. Perfect pass would put the boat just out of my range.

MobV was the Official towboat of AWA (Az Wakeboard Assoc) in 2002. Also you can get HUGE bags to stuff into the playpen seating's "basement storage" We dropped a 1000lb bag from Fluid concepts into our SSV. Jerry from Fluid said he was stopping by the dealership today to look at outfitting our Skier's Choice line with his product. Any questions, just ask. I'll be a smarter man in a few hours too!

you wont be dissapointed with it. WE got the graphics and 3 deck just put on and my dad also suprised me with a new Acme prop with makes a huge difference getting out of the hull and also make the wake harder. Post some pics of your new boat.

I don't have a digital camera or a scanner. I think the dealer can email me some pics, though
