Are these LEDs so expensive that you would need a group buy to get them? I thought these were relatively cheap...

aprgriggs, mantaray, also... i really don't have the time to do it and make up LED sets and make them watertight etc...
great idea if you have the time and skills for sure... i just don't therefore i'm doing it the easy way! I already have my remote control system waiting for them.. its going to be pretty dang pimp when wired up to my tower lights too.

Installing isnt too hard, it just depends on how much time you want to take and how clean you want it to be. I have wired mine a little diffrent so that i can have the cabin and new bow lights on with the nav lights, but if i needed a little extra light i have two other LED's installed under the dash that turn on with a diffrent switch. I didnt want to have all of those on the same swithc because once i have my sub box in, that will make enough light at the dirver foot, so i didnt want to over do it. Heres the link to some pictures i have posted of my install so far. More to come!

Good Luck, I hope you have better luck than me.....I had red neon on my last boat and had to replace them twice because they would bust when I got into choppy water.

| geez how often do you people drive at night?? We are usually pulling out of the water right after sunset.. Only a handful of times last summer where we were actually cruising around in the night.
