Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but judging from your heelside w2w that you threw in there, it looks like you need to work on your edgeing some more. It'll save you a lot of falls on your backroll.
Practice edgeing about halfway from where you were cutting in for your backrolls and try clearing the wake. Same with the backrolls, start closer to the wake - you don't need to be flying in at it, you just need strong line tension and a good release off the top. It looks like you're close, so practice your edgeing some more and then give it another go. |

HOLD YOUR EDGE all the way through the wake that will help alot. And I'd go with what's said above^^ Your not doing a ralley, its just a backroll. You dont need such a huge cut. Right now your just taking the trick wake to wake so worry about going up not out. But it looks like all you need to do is hold your edge longer. Hold it through the entire wake even at the top never let off, and just stand up at the top of the wake (That in no way implies coming off your edge). As soon as you feel your pop keep that handle in close to your lead hip just like a wake jump and take your head and upper portion and throw it to your following shoulder. You want to stand tall and throw your head to your following shoulder. Dont just throw it, cause that'll make you lose your pop/height and hit the water. Stand tall and literally lean hard towards your following shoulder.
Hope this helps, good luck let us know when you stick it. _________________ ''Take it easy''

I just orderd a new 2005 Moomba Mobius GG edition... hoping it will help some. this movie was shot behind a 1993 Campion.
Thanks for all your help and tips =P I will work on my wake to wake jumps some more with a shorter cut.
I did it atleast 50 times more after that movie was made without any luck landing. I would land sideways or almost revert every time I got the roll around. Maybe letting go with my trailing hand will help some.
Thanks again |

On the few you came close, you only had one hand on the handle.... why make the trick harder than it is, keep both hands on the handle until you start grabbing the HS backroll or taking it to revert..
You are not letting the wake do the work, you are tryn to huck yo self around, not required for a smooth HS backroll. RIDE UP THE WAKE!
What were you tryn TS? crow attempts or TS front rolls?

| Those were Scarecrow attempts one looks like a ts font roll attempt but all scarecrow attemps. I do use the Wake Physics book as a guide for all the tricks. |

For the crow, ride up the wake MORE and then do the trip flip but stand taller, you are crunched over too much.
Once you have the height you now need to think about pushing your back shoulder around to the next wake. This will get you to spin the 180 a lot higher in the rotation and make spotting the landing much easier. You should be able to spot the landing before you even finish the 180.
You are not giving your self enough time in the air to finish the trick. You need more POP and that will come from waiting on the wake and standing taller!
Crow's are super easy once you get that first one. _________________ PEACE

don't know if anybody has already said this but...
on the backroll, slow your cut down at the beginning and edge the hardest at the bottom of the wake... with a backroll, you are slowly trying to build up a lot of edge and then release it at the top of the wake... hold your edge all the way to the wake and try and push the board through the top of the wake while looking over your lead shoulder... it helps me if i hold on with two hands about 3/4 of the way around then i let go with my back hand.... hope this helps _________________ don't think about it, just do it |

Hey man, do you ride in the shuswaps???
First off slow down abit in your cut, second hold rope to hip throughout the whole trick and DONT let of go of it, hold on with BOTH hands, if you can do this you will land it. |

It looks like you let off your edge right at the base of the wake. You gotta dig in all the way up the wake and stand really tall off the top , also keep the handle tight at your hip. _________________ Raley cut everything! |

| I can land tantrums without any trouble but I can not land my back roll. I have been attempting this trick even before I tried to tantrum but every time the rope pops out of my hands after the rotation is completely done. This happens high up towards the flats coming down spotting the landing. (I land the trick BUT without the rope) its pretty wierd.. Any suggestions??? |
